This welcome book is intended to help you get familiar with the area and our property. Here you will find everything you need to know about our home along with some local tips.

This home is owned by wonderful, hard working folks who have opened their homes and spaces to us and thus to you. Our first priority is that you enjoy your time at our home but a close second is ensuring that our property is treated with the utmost respect as well as our neighbors.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Check out time: 12pm
This gives our cleaning team the appropriate time to make sure the place is ready for the next group that stays after you.

Check in time 4pm onwards

To ensure you have a trouble free arrival at our properties, we ask that you arrive before 10PM just in case you require any assistance with gaining entry to the property. When arriving after 10PM, please notify us and also be mindful not to make excessive noise and disturb the neighbors.

Late Check Out Fee: Staying past check out time creates a logistical problem and unless expressly permitted by management, there will be a charge associated with a late checkout.

Property Access

There is a long driveway before you will get to the front of the home. The driveway is easy to miss so please be on the lookout for large bronze statues at Swedes Feeds followed by a green church sign.
The home driveway is the second driveway from the church. You'll arrive in front of the house and will see the main door and a touchpad keypad to enter the building.

MAIN HOUSE: 4-digit code to enter the home is: 2024

COTTAGE: 4-digit code to unlock the door is: 2732

ADU/Cottage access

If the door to the ADU/Cottage across the breezeway is locked, there is a set of keys tucked away in the electric fuse box in the laundry room (in the main house). There are other spare keys as well in the event that the key is not in the fuse box. Please contact owner if there are any issues with finding the key.

Parking

There are plenty of places to park your car on the property. Just be aware of landscaped areas but other than that, just find a shady spot and park away :-)

Your reservation shall be cancelled without any refund if any of these rules is not followed:

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING

Absolutely no smoking inside the property. Any type of smoking inside the property is subject to an additional $500 deep cleaning fee.

OVERNIGHT GUESTS ARE NOT PERMITTED UNLESS INCLUDED ON THE INITIAL RESERVATION

Your initial reservation has to account for every guest that would stay overnight in the property and that number should never overpass the maximum occupancy established in the listing.

NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS

Parties or gatherings are absolutely not permitted. Please respect the space, the neighbors, and guests at the neighboring properties, thank you.

NO PETS

Pets are not permitted at any time.

Additional Rules
SHOES
Please kindly don’t wear shoes in the house to help reduce dirt and debris. Be specially mindful of wet feet from the pool.

QUIET HOURS

Please be courteous to the neighbors and keep noise levels low, especially between the hours of 10pm-7am. No amplified music outdoors after 10pm.

FURNITURE

Please don’t move furniture around the home to avoid damages to the floor. Also, always use placemats and cup mats to avoid leaving any stains.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGES

Your rental agreement includes a security deposit protection plan. The home will be inspected after departure. Please, make sure that you notify the owner of any damages or breakages prior to departure, otherwise, the security deposit protection is void and your credit card will be charged for the cost of repair/replacement. The most common damages include stains on towels, linens, and carpet. If damage is found to be excessive, or caused by negligence it will be covered under the policy.

We have a beautiful Japanese Cedar hot tub on the property for guests to use. Hot tub should be heated to 100 degrees already. Please DO NOT make any temperature or pump timing adjustments to the hot tub without permission from the owner.

We provide only an initial batch of toiletries to get you comfortable as soon as you arrive, but any re-supply should be provided by guests.

Trash

We have multiple trash cans in the unit for use. Extra trash bags are in the cabinet below the sink.
Trash bins are out front so please put any filled up trash bags in the appropriate bins during your stay and before you checkout.

Trash night is Thursday night and we have our maintenance team take the trash bins out to the street on Thursday night. They will also bring them back in on Monday when trash has been taken.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Our landscape maintenance team comes every Monday usually in the afternoon to mow, blow and weed the front and back yard.

Pool service also comes every Wednesday, usually in the mornings.

Maintenance team will also take the trash bins out to the street on Thursday night and bring them back in on Monday.

They have access to the property so don’t be surprised when you see them taking care of their beautiful landscaping

LOCAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Groceries
There is a corner store 2 mins walking distance across the street. All basic grocery and cooking supplies available. Also a great deli for lunch options available.

Town of Glen Ellen for the Glen Ellen market is the main grocery store closest to the house.

Safeway and Whole Foods are in sonoma about 15 minute drive from the house.

Restaurants & Wineries
Palooza
(2 mins walk across the street) - great salads, wraps, burgers and a great beer & wine selection.
VJB cellars, also walking distance from the house. Has pizza, salads, sandwiches and a beautiful deli full of yummy Italian options. They also offer wine tastings and specials by the bottle.
Salt & Stone - a quick 5 minute drive from the house. Awesome place for brunch, lunch or dinner. Patio is beautiful! Reservations recommended
Kunde wines - a quick 5 minute drive from the house. They offer wine tastings and also wine by the glass with some basic snacks. Reservations required
En Grande Winery - walking distance from the house for tasting some yummy Pinot Noirs. Reservations required

CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS

The property will be inspected, sanitized and cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure. Guests should try to leave the property in the same general condition at check in meaning:

  1. Any debris, rubbish and discards should be removed from the home.

  2. Silverware, dishes and all used cooking utensils cleaned up.

  3. Put back any furniture or items that have been rearranged (inside and outside the home).

  4. All remote controls left in plain sight.

  5. Fridge & unit should be left clean & free of perishable food.

  6. Lounge chairs equipment, etc. put back in place.

  7. BBQ cleaned with brush.

  8. All lights, heater, air conditioning, appliances, etc must be turned off.

  9. Please make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked.

  10. Please remove used sheets and towels and start at least one washer load if possible before leaving so our cleaning crew can be efficient in getting the house ready for the next guest.
